Carpet Shock started in 2010 by a local missionary named Allan McLean. He wanted to use Carpet Shock as a way to help young men and women make a living and have a better life. He died tragically a year later and left the company to the current owner who was one of those young men he mentored.
The team had grown to 4 employees by 2013 in Abbotsford and we are now proud to also be serving Langley and South Surrey. We like to think that each happy customer served at Carpet Shock is honoring the gift he gave.
Contrary to some people’s belief, carpets can actually provide better air quality at home. When you install laminate or hardwood flooring, the dust and hair that would usually be caught in carpeting can get caught in your lungs.
Dust is pretty gross. You may not be able to see most of it, but it’s made up of skin cells, animal dander, hair, dust mites, and worse. You wouldn’t remove an air filter in favor of dusting more, would you? Over time, with this buildup in carpets, it’s necessary to have your carpets cleaned regularly.
What we’re trying to say is: carpets are healthy! And as long as you have experts like Carpet Shock to clean them regularly, you can improve your health, too.
